Membership in the "Pride of Mid-America" Marching Band is open to all students at Ball State University, regardless of major. Interested in joining the band? Read the information below for details. WIND PLAYERS

1) Enroll in either MUSCH 140C (zero credit hours) or MUSCH 340C (one credit hour) when you register for Fall 2012 classes.

2) Complete and return the Confirmation Form, Medical Form, and Merchandise Order Form to the band office by July 5, 2013. If you didn't receive these forms in the mail, you can download them by clicking here.

3) Attend BSU "Pride of Mid-America" Band Camp from August 10-17.

Note: there is no audition requirement for wind players to join the marching band.

PERCUSSIONISTS

1) Enroll in either MUSCH 140C (zero credit hours) or MUSCH 340C (one credit hour) when you register for Fall 2012 classes. (This is the band rehearsal time).

2) Enroll in either MUSCH 140G (zero credit hours) or MUSCH 340G (one credit hour) when you register for Fall 2012 classes. (This is the drumline rehearsal time).

4) Attend auditions on Thursday, August 8 & Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Music Instruction Building. The audition is mandatory for membership in the drumline.

COLOR GUARD

1) Attend auditions on Saturday, April 21 & 28, 2012 at Music Instruction Building Room 152. Alternate audition times can be scheduled by calling the band office at (765) 285-9178. The audition is mandatory for membership in the Color Guard.

2) Enroll in either MUSCH 140C (zero credit hours) or MUSCH 340C (one credit hour) when you register for Fall 2012 classes. (This is the band rehearsal time).

3) Enroll in either MUSCH 140G (zero credit hours) or MUSCH 340G (one credit hour) when you register for Fall 2012 classes. (This is the guard rehearsal time).
